Harvest Farms

Today we went to Harvest Farms in Wellington. They have a bunch of fun stuff for kids to do. There was a really fun corn maze! We almost got lost inside it but Daddy helped us figure out how to get out. After we finished the maze they gave us salt water taffy!

Morgan really enjoyed the big haystacks that you could climb on and run around in.

There was a park with three slides, monkey bars, swings and a climbing wall. Morgan really enjoyed the slides and wanted to go down them many many times.

They had a petting zoo where Morgan got to pet goats and sheep. He even got to feed them.

This goat really liked the wonderful massage Morgan gave him!

Bunny Town was fun, there were lots of bunnies that had little houses and buildings to hop into. Morgan got to pet a bunny named Leftie!
Although little brother Wyatt was too small to do any of the activities, he came along for the ride and still had a blast. Here he is smiling away!

And this is the ride home from Harvest Farms! What a day!

Coloring and Carving Pumpkins

Morgan brought back two pumpkins from his and Daddy's trip to Iowa. He couldn't wait to color his and for Daddy to carve a funny face into the big pumpkin. Morgan used a bunch of different colors to draw all over his pumpkin.

Here is the smile of a very proud artist :-)!

Wyatt John

Wyatt John came into this world on Sunday, January 10th, 2010. He was born two months early. He weighed 3lbs 5oz. The doctors speculate that I had an infection which caused my water to break and Wyatt to be born. Because he was so little, he had to stay in the hospital for 7 weeks so that he could grow and learn to eat on his own. Wyatt was born in Denver, Colorado because that is where they had a Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Denver is about an hour away from where Colby and I live, so we drove up and down every day to visit our little guy.

Here is Wyatt in his Isolette where he stayed warm and started to grow and gain weight.

Mommy, Daddy and Grandparents were allowed to hold Wyatt so that he could feel our touch which helps the growing process. And soon he got bigger.....

And bigger.....

And Bigger.....

Until he was finally able to come home on March 3rd!! We were so excited to finally be able to bring our little trooper home to join our family.

Now look at him! He is a smiley growing boy! He loves to eat and he is always so happy!

Still growing and smiling!

What a big boy sitting up in his saucer!

Rolling over onto his tummy!! He is trying to crawl, he mostly scoots on his belly. His legs are really strong though, he can support all his weight on them while holding onto our hands. I'll bet he will probably walk before he actually crawls!

Morgan James

I can't believe Morgan will be 3 years old in a month!!

It seems like only yesterday Morgan James was born on November 13th, 2007! He is our first born and our pride and joy.
