Morgan turns 4 years old! Birthday Celebration #2

Today, November 13th was Morgan's 4th birthday, so we celebrated at Chuck E Cheese!

The real Chuck E Cheese came out to visit the birthday boy!

Group Hug!

Then there was a dance party before cake and ice cream!

Shake Your Groove Thing Morgan!!

Time for Cake!! Another Batman cake...Morgan's favorite!

The birthday boy gets to enter the Ticket Machine to try and catch as many tickets as possible! Here is Morgan getting ready to enter the machine. We told him to give us a "thumbs up" and this is what he did.....oh well, at least he knows who #1 is!

Trying to catch some tickets!

I think he's got one!

After meeting Chuck E Cheese, dancing and cake....it was time to go play the GAMES!!

We opened presents back at home, he got so many neat things! He was so excited and grateful for everything!

Morgan had a great 4th Birthday Party! Thanks to all!

Morgan turns 4 years old! Birthday Celebration #1

Morgan's Great Grandma (my grandma) turns 94 years old on November 16th, so since Morgan's birthday is November 13th we decided to have a birthday celebration for both of them on Saturday. Morgan had a Batman cake!

Blowing out the candles!

Opening all his fun gifts!

Trick or Treat 2011

This year Morgan went up to each door in the neighborhood by himself while Colby and I stood back and watched. He had so much fun. He did a very good job of saying "Trick or Treat" when they opened the door and he said "Thank you" when they gave him candy. Wyatt still wasn't too sure about going door to door this year so he hung back with us. I'll bet next year though he will be so excited to go up to the door with his brother.

Halloween weekend there is always something going on. On Saturday my parents and I took the boys to the Centerra Hullabaloo....it is a street fair where the kids dress up, get candy and get to participate in all sorts of activities...like a bouncy house!

The Loveland Fire Department was there and the kids got to sit in a real fire truck!

They got their picture taken with a spooky background! They are Batman and Robin if you couldn't tell. Wyatt wouldn't wear his mask, but he still looked pretty cute!

There was a petting zoo with cows, horses, ducks, goats and more!

Then, on Sunday we joined cousins at the outdoor mall for some Halloween fun and pictures.

Not sure what kind of Batman squat Morgan is trying to do here?

Cousin Devyn was Batgirl! Here are Batman and Batgirl flying through the sky!

October Iowa Trip

In October we took a last minute trip to Iowa to see some of Colby's family and help his Grandpa on the farm. We usually drive the 8 hours there in one day, but this time we decided to leave in the evening and stay at a hotel in Nebraska. This was the boys' first time in a hotel room.

Wyatt is pretty happy here, but about 15 minutes after we got settled in our room he decided he was going to have a crying fit for a few hours! I am very surprised we didn't get a phone call from the manager asking us to leave.

The next day we made a trip to the Omaha Nebraska Zoo. It was a pretty awesome zoo with a lot of animals to see!

Wyatt is trying to show Colby a butterfly in the Butterfly Pavilion.

This is how tall Morgan would be compared to a Gorilla.

Once we were in Iowa the boys, myself and Aunt Debbie visited a pumpkin patch.

I think Wyatt has found the one he wants.

Here they are fighting over who is going to pull the wagon.

Now that one is probably more your size Wyatt.

This pumpkin patch had a corn maze for kids.

And a sandy area with toy dump trucks and tractors.

Of course our Iowa trip would not be complete if the boys didn't get to ride on Great Grandpa's tractors!

Morgan found a furry Caterpillar friend!

Colby had to get some wrestling time in with all the kids.

Colby and his cousin Ryan's birthdays are in October, so we celebrated with some yummy cupcakes.

Wyatt obviously enjoyed his cupcake!

All the kids together! Such cuties!

Then it was time to make the 8 hour trip home....this time in one day. This is how Morgan traveled, quiet and occupied with his movies and activities.

And this is how Wyatt traveled the whole 8 hours!!!!

Thank God we made it home and Thank God for Advil!
